The John U. Greene Store

  • Circa 1900

  • Formerly “Pick’s Place Restaurant”

  • The last of two public buildings that speak of Bellevue’s past

  • Listed among the Maryland Inventory of Historic Properties

  • Will be restored and repurposed to house the Bellevue Passage Museum

The Bellevue Passage Museum will tell the story of a self-sufficient community.

Our aim is to create a fuller understanding of the places and spaces that animated Bellevue’s African American life.
