Camp Policies and Procedures
Our goal is to provide a comfortable and pleasant environment for all our campers. As such, please review the following camp policies and procedures.
Behavior Expectations
Respect Others: Treat fellow campers, staff, and camp property with kindness and respect.
Listen and Follow Instructions: Pay attention to camp instructors and follow their directions promptly.
Participate Actively: Engage in all activities and do your best to contribute positively.
Stay Safe: Keep your hands to yourself and use equipment and materials as instructed.
Prohibited Behaviors
Bullying or Harassment: Any form of bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
Physical Aggression: No hitting, pushing, or physical confrontations. No damaging camp property.
Inappropriate Language: Use of offensive or inappropriate language and threats are not allowed.
Disruptive Behavior: Actions that disrupt the learning environment will not be tolerated.
In extreme cases, a camper may be dismissed from the camp for serious violations of the camp's policies.
Prohibited Items
Electronic Devices: Personal electronic devices such as tablets, or gaming consoles should be left at home unless specifically requested by camp staff. Cell phones are allowed but are not to be used at camp.
Weapons: No weapons or items that can be used as weapons are allowed.
Tobacco, Alcohol, and Drugs: Possession or use of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs is strictly forbidden.
Valuables: Avoid bringing valuables to camp, as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.
Procedures for Injuries
Immediate Attention: If a child is injured, they will receive immediate first aid from a certified staff member.
Notify Parents/Guardians: Parents or guardians will be notified as soon as possible in the event of an injury.
Emergency Services: If necessary, emergency services will be contacted to ensure the child receives appropriate medical care.
Incident Report: An incident report will be completed for any injury, detailing the circumstances and actions taken.

When is the registration deadline?

Can I see what my student is working on?
Absolutely! On Friday, July 26th, we invite parents and guardians to arrive early for our camp showcase and end-of-camp celebration.
What meals are provided?
A catered lunch with beverages will be provided for the students each day. We encourage you to pack a water bottle and a snack for your child if they will need more to eat than a full lunch..
Can my student miss camp days?
We understand things happen, but we encourage students to miss no more than one day at camp to take full advantage of the group-based projects and learning experiences.
What should my student wear?
All activities will take place indoors. Please pack a light jacket, hoodie, or sweater if your child is prone to getting cold in air-conditioned buildings.
